Investigating the Relationship between Components of Psychological Capital and Spiritual Intelligence with Tendency to Addiction of students

Character strengths are one of the key concepts of positive psychology that relate closely to desirable and positive experiences and can be defined as positive traits in thoughts and behaviors that help people improve their quality of life and efficiency. Attachment styles appear to be of influencing factors on the increase of character strengths. The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship of attachment styles with the components of character strengths in students. For this purpose, in a descriptive study of correlation type between all university students of state university of Zanjan in the academic year 98 99 sample consisted of 150 students ( 87 boys, 63 girls ) were studying in the autumn semester of Zanjan university was chosen by accidental cluster sampling method . As well as the two questionnaires of character strengths ( VIA-IS ) Siligman and Peterson and attachment styles of Koleniz and Raid were used as research tool , and spss software, version 24 was used for data analysis . The results of the Pearson correlation test showed that there is no meaningful relation between character strengths with ambivalent attachment styles ( anxiety) and the safe attachment style ( closeness ) , but there is significant positive relation between character strengths with avoiding attachment style ( dependency ). There was also a significant positive relation among components of character strengths only between moderation and courage and knowledge and wisdom and justice, in the avoiding attachment style and there was no significant relationship between humanitarianism (humanity) and excellence as other factors of character strengths with avoiding attachment style. The results of Regrenson test showed that among components of character strengths, only moderation and courage predicted the avoiding attachment positively and significantly while reason and knowledge, humanitarianism, justice and excellence are not able to predict an avoiding attachment as other components of character of strengths. The results of this study show the importance of avoiding attachment styles to improve character of strengths as one of the important elements of positive psychology. So, the presentation of training to parents based on increasing their children s independence in childhood to form avoiding attachment style, will lead to an increase in moderation and courage as elements of character strengths.
