Role of Leadership in Awakening Muslim Communities from the Perspective of the Holy Quran

The issue of awakening of Muslim communities is one of the most significant events of the contemporary time drawing the attention of a large number of thinkers in the world. Taking the wide range of these events in Muslim communities, and the essential role of leadership in these movements, and considering the systematic teachings of political thought in Islam, it is necessary to explain the role of leadership in awakening Muslim communities from the perspective of the holy Quran. Some special principles are governing the teachings and actions of leadership in Islamic awakening. In addition, if the leader wills to play an efficient role in leading the movement and directing it to its goals and ends, he should bear certain responsibilities and duties according to the teachings of the holy Quran. The present article is an attempt towards studying and analyzing the role of leadership in awakening communities based on the above mentioned elements.
