urban capital as the missing link

Studying the role of social capital in economy, we understand that lots of this concept’s problems in economy are due to ambiguity and its quite expanded definitions. For this reason we restrict social capital to a set of values and beliefs and we call it urban capital to clarify the subject. This definition differentiates social capital from human capital and has the specialties of investment standard concept, too. Then we note that urban capital can explain the reason for the persistent differences in countries’ economic performance, the two factors of institutions and geographical position are among its factors of its persistence
