Impact of Portfolio Assessment on Development of Accurate Writing

Generally, the assessment is the process which is a necessary component in the teaching. Researchers found, all learners’ competence couldn’t be measured by traditional assessment, so alternative assessment became begin. This paper reviews portfolio assessment definition from some different researchers, as well as, studies which are experienced by some scholars, they indicates positive impact of portfolio on teaching and learning, in overall writing, especially in accurate writing performance, at last it shows the using portfolio is effectiveness in teaching and learning
