Surveying the EnvironmentalQuality of Coastal Cities to achieving urban Sustainable Development (Case Study: Bushehr Port)

Today,due to theuniqueattractiveness andfacilitiesincoastal cities, a large populationhas flowed intothese cities. This has made it necessaryto pay more attentionto thesecitiesmore than before. It seems special climatic and locality conditions at the beaches has made these cities very vulnerable in terms of environmentalcircumstance.The purposeof thisstudy is to evaluateenvironmentalqualityof Bushehr port to achieving urban sustainable development in citizens' viewpoint.Considering thepurpose,thisresearchispractical and its methodis descriptive–analytical.The results of Binomial Test in SPSS software showed thatgarbage gathering situationwith mean3.39 and the 0.000 significance levelisfavorable and other componentsqualityis critical and lower than the averagelevel. Therefore,first of all for sustainable development andmaintaining balancecoastal environment of Bushehr, noise and air pollution, sewerage and then roads quality should be takeninto special consideration andwith asubtle look,be included inurbandevelopment plans.
