Abstract:

Based on the study, the analysis method and strength of the soil slopes is investigated based on thecombination of the finite element method and the lower bound theory, and under three-dimensionalsituations and modeled finite element method and the situation of the lower bound including equilibriumequations, tensions' separation conditions, bound situations and surrendering condition are introduced asproblem adverbs, and the tension field is searched to obtain the most lower bound of the safetycoefficient, the most reduced slope angle, the effect of the depth factor is more in the strength of thegable. The result is in the form of a set of vague dimensional diagrams that could be used in engineeringapplications.
