Abstract:Introduction: Breast cancer is a multifactorial disease and is recognized as the most com mon cancer in women worldwide. More than 1.5 million new breast cancers are diagnosed .every year in women Research methods: This review study was conducted at the reputable medical databases of Scopus, PubMed, and Google Scholar and by searching keywords breast cancer and pre.venting its. Then 10 articles that met the inclusion criteria were evaluated Results: Breast cancer development is a multistage process involving several types of cells that is difficult to prevent worldwide. This cancer is metastatic and can spread to other organs. Early detection of this malignancy is one of the best ways to prevent it. In some devel oped countries, the 5-year relative survival rate of breast cancer survivors is reported to be over 80% if initially prevented. The guidelines, recommend individual screening measures, especially for younger women. Mammography screening is associated with a 19% reduction in breast cancer deaths, leading to a 15% reduction in women 40 and a 32% decrease in .women 60 years Mammography is one of the most important diagnostic methods of breast can- :Conclusion cer, and to maximize its screening benefits, decisions must be made on the basis of the patient’s history and profile
