Determination of Vitamin A in Pistacia atlantica by high-performance liquid chromatographic

This study aimed to determine the Vitamin A existing in Pistacia atlantica that have been cultivated in Khorasan Razavi region. To measure vitamins we need precise and reliable techniques. So in this research we have used highperformance liquid chromatography to determine vitamin A in Pistacia atlantica.Vitamin A were extracted into hexane, dissolved in absolute ethanol, and analysed by HPLC. After extraction and preparing sample, measured amount of Vitamin A in Pistacia atlantica is 1.10 ppm.
