Abstract:
Fat is abundant easily accessible tissue and for the first time in 1912 was described for treatment of facial lipoatrophy by Eugene Holler. Adipose tissue, which contains cellular and extracellular matrix component with stem cells in its cellular component, is considered as a promising source in the field of wound healing and regenerative medicine. For search strategy we use databases from pubmed, medline, google scholar with mesh terms such as Wound healing, fat tissue, Adipose derived stem cell.The purpose of this review article is to investigate the wound healing properties of fat and adipose derived stem cells.
