خلاصه مقاله:
The new generation of biologial products are largely the result of genetic engineering. The qualitative and quantitative demand for recombinant proteins is steadily increasing. Molecular biologis are constantly challenged by the need to improve and optimise the existing expression system, and also develop novel approaches to face the demands of producingthe complex proteins of tomorrow. Technologies based on genetic recombination are paving the way towards thetherapeutic usage of complex molecules. These proteins are proving useful in numerous areas; from the treatment multiplesclorosis to complex cancer immunotherapies targeting effector molecules. One of the strategies used by researchers in this field involves using different signal peptides to increas the expression level . In this study we compare the effect of two different signal peptide pelB and OmpA on the solubility and expression of recombinant human IFNβ in E.coli Expression system. Based on this study it was concluded that the choice of signal peptide sequence has a strong impact on both the translocation and the expression level of recombinant IFNβ.
