Background and Aim : Many women consumption hormonal contraceptive pills to prevent pregnancy.Therefore, this study was done to assess this drug duration use on some metabolic disorders.Methods : women were selected among 5532 of reproductive-aged women of Tehran Lipid and GlucoseStudy (TLGS) participants whose data were complete. Data gathered via the TLGS questionnaires.Results : our finding showed the comparison of groups including non-users (reference group) and userswith different duration of consumption even with adjustment for confounding variables no statisticallysignificant difference.Conclusion : It seems the duration of consumption of current hormonal contraceptive pills is not acontributor to metabolic disorders.
