خلاصه مقاله:
The Sustainable architecture is a means that leads architecture concepts towards residence in nature so that by knowing nature and using the natural resources we can adapt the constructions with the climate conditions of region. This research relies on concepts and instances of sustainable development level on the adaptability of the sustainable indices in vernacular architecture in khorram Abad city. The case study is the house of Akhound abou in khorram Abad which was analyzed; this construction introduces the classification of sustainable indices such as: using renewable energy, materials, harmonic designing to the climate of the region, reduction of the environmental pollution and etc. This study is based on descriptive, library and field research methods; the obtained results showed that the applied principles in the construction of traditional houses in khorram Abad especially the house of Akhound Abou is adapted to most of the sustainable indices and concepts; moreover, these rules are in proportion to the regional climate
