This In general, recycling helps to preserve resources and save energy. It may also reduce the costs. Using recycled pavement materials in road construction has been introduced since 1900. Beside its benefits, it is essential to consider the negative impacts. Pavement may be exposed to many kinds of pollutants during its life. It may contaminate pavement, and pollution may shift by recycling pavement materials. In this study the potential leach ability of contaminants from stockpiles and pavements constructed by Recycled Asphalt Pavement (RAP) is investigated. The recycled materials are provided from the under construction projects in Qazvin, Iran. Laboratory batch tests were performed to characterize samples' leaching procedure, and to evaluate the potential leach ability of RAP materials after using in surfing layers. Then the results are compared by those achieved by Ali Behnood
