خلاصه مقاله:
Genaveh port, located on Southern Iranian shores, is an important growing dual purposefishery-commercial port, which required the diversion of the Dareh-Gap River in the past toreduce sedimentation inside its rather narrow inner navigation channel created via two nearparallel jetties stretching to a depth of 3.5 meter (C.D), initially constructed to stabilize thecorresponding inlet. Despite such measures, significant remaining annual sedimentationvolume inside the harbor has been a major obstacle to both navigation as well as port capacity expansion
