Coral reefs which are the most important marine ecosystem have algal symbiosis in order togrow and survive. The coral reefs of the Persian Gulf are especially in danger of damage anddestruction because of the semi-enclosed structure of this Gulf and other geographicaldeterminants. Salinity, high temperature and extreme low tides are some of the factors thatharshly affect corals in this region [1].
