خلاصه مقاله:
Different methods of soil reinforcement such as geosynthetics has been widely used in retaining walls, MSE walls, and slopes to increase tensile and shear strengths of the soil. One of the most important factors that has a salient effect on ultimate strength of soil-geosynthetics is modeling of interface, although it is often neglected. In this research, behavior of interface between Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) as a geosynthetic and sand is investigated experimentally using Cyclic Multi-Degrees of Freedom (CYMDOF) device and a single surface elasto-plastic HISS model is proposed. Results from HISS model are then compared to that of experimental data and Mohr-Coulomb model which is commonly used in numerical modeling
