Fisheries supply chain is a network of members and activities including fish, shrimp and seashell culturing and harvesting, production of sea foods and products and distributing them among stores, restaurants and consumers. The main objectives of the supply chain include increased production of high-quality products within the lowest possible time, cost reduction and customer satisfaction. Therefore, the supply chain members should manage demand-supply chain via technology to preserve their share in current markets while penetrating in new markets. Data mining techniques as strong evaluation and prediction tools are technological aids improving and promoting the supply chain efficiency. In this review we consider Data mining applications in Fisheries supply chain as well as some new areas that could be practice using Data mining methods.
