خلاصه مقاله:
In this paper, we first overview characteristics of the next generation (5G) of wireless communication, mentioning a wide variety of new emerging applications, then focus on delay critical and multimedia applications, and also their demands. Afterwards, we briefly specify the advantages of Network Coding (NC) in the 5G communication area, and introduce the backgrounds of Random Linier NC (RLNC) such as Galois Field, and encoding / decoding mechanisms. Next, we address the basic concepts we use for characterizing our problem by reviewing some related papers, the concepts such as partial decoding, non-systematic and systematic network coding, Absorbing Markov chain, sparsity level, degree of freedom and innovative coded packet. Finally, we investigate a related study which have focused on modeling the performances such as the probability of being innovative a coded packet, the probability of decoding a fraction of a generation and the total number of transmission in order to decode a generation
