Abstract:

In the laboratory phase the study ofnumerous variations that, occur in the concrete strength and try to investigate and analyzethe numerous changes that have been made in the desired concrete strength, based onstatistical methods which are useful in interpreting these Variations.The statistical evaluations of the quality data provide a scientific analysis of the entireproduction process with respect to the quality. They not only point out the general trends inthe quality variations but also many a time go to expose the unsuspected causes of variationand thus lead to a striking improvement in constructional qualityThis paper, briefly presents the results of a case study conducted Pavement QualityConcrete (PQC) mix, to assess the possibility of using statistical experiment design andanalysis methods to optimize concrete paving mix proportions. PQC is the plain cementconcrete pavement which my use in Runway, Expressway, and Toll plaza laid over drylean concrete and a polymer sheet of 125 microns thickness for Long life design. Thisprocedure has been established to complement the concrete pavement design, mixproportion and characteristic strength of the concert pavement.
