The objective of this study is to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence andMathematic success of students. This research is descriptive with the use of correlation .The samplevolume is 304 people, according to the Cochran formula. The samples were chosen by stratifiedrandom sampling among the third grade female high school students and their teachers in BandarAbbas. Tools of this study are Bar-On emotional intelligence test and Mathematics grade in thesecond semester of 2014-2015 academic years. Mathematic score was used as the students’academic success index in Mathematics. The survey’s information was analyzed in two levels ofdescriptive and inferential statistics via SPSS software. The results of the research showed thatthere is a meaningful and straight relationship between students’ emotional intelligence andmathematic success. Also, there is a meaningful and straight relationship between teachers’emotional intelligence and students’ mathematic success. There is a meaningful and straightrelationship between teachers and students ‘emotional intelligence, but the relationship is not sostrong. The academic achievement of students with diploma and lower mothers is less than theacademic achievement of students with upper diploma mothers. The emotional intelligence ofstudents with diploma and lower mothers is less than the emotional intelligence of students withupper diploma mothers. Father’ education does not have any role in the academic achievement andemotional intelligence of students.
