Abstract:
In this paper, iron oxide nanoparticles (magnetite) were synthesized by wet co-precipitation method and subsequently modified to stabilize and target the nanoparticles and prevent their aggregation by modifying the surface area of silica (TEOS) amine (APTMS) and folic acid ( FA) Water soluble anticancer drug (DOX) was selected as a drug model. In this paper, it was found that the synthesized iron oxide nanoparticles have no cytotoxicity and are biocompatible and have the potential to be used as nanocarriers in drug delivery. MTT test results showed that DOX-loaded iron oxide nanoparticles had a faster and stronger effect. Free of doxorubicin on inhibition of cell growth. This cytotoxic effect is more pronounced in the 4-hour treatment after morphological examination of cells after treatment with DOXtreated nanoparticles, indicating that cells have apoptotic or programmed cell death microscopic studies. Nanoparticle Entry Overall, it is concluded from this article that targeted drug delivery by intelligent drug delivery systems has a direct effect on direct delivery of drug to target cells and has a faster and more efficient function than drug free form. This will eliminate many of the restrictions on drug use.
