Abstract:
One of the most important equipment and goods that have been of special importance in human life from the past to the present is carpets and textile products; because utilizing these facilities helps to create a sense of comfort and tranquility. One of the most unique and popular types of carpets are handmade carpets, which are also considered as ancient Iranian products. Iran s handmade carpets have a particular position in the economic, social, cultural, technical and artistic fields and play an important role in job creation, currency and export. Now, Iran s handmade carpet industry is facing with many problems, and it is completely necessary to identify solutions to solve these problems. Before providing solutions, customer requirements (CRs) and technical measures (TMs) should be identified. For this purpose, QFD method has been used. This method is one of the most common methods for improving the qualitative level of products. In order to complete the information and research data, the opinions of carpet weavers, experts, officials and customers have been used. When the relevant calculations are performed, and the weights of the CRs and TMs are determined, the House of Quality (HoQ) is drawn. HoQ is the last step in QFD. The results of this research can be effective in reducing existing problems and increasing the export of handmade carpets.
