Today the Technology of Ultra-Wide Band system or UWB is developing rapidly. This system is capable of finding the location of a trapped person from the elevation of up to 30 meters in open air precisely. Natural disasters cause huge devastations; therefore, crisis management is indeed a definite requirement in all nations, particularly in Iran, where earthquake is the most prominent and destructive natural disaster. There are various systems to find victims buried under rubbles in Iran, such as thermal sensors, sound noise life detection systems and life detection dogs and depending on the situation, each of these techniques has its own particular application. The focus in this research is the life detection quadcopter which is equipped with ultra-wide band sensors. These quadcopters have many outstanding capabilities including transmissioning the obstacles (even rigid obstacles like concrete), sufficient security in the case of multiple interference, and carrying the system by quadcopter through unreachable places. In this study, we reviewed past related practices and investigated the benefits and drawbacks of the mentioned quadcopter for rescuing victims of an earthquake. At the end, we proposed a rescuing drone which is built by adding a UWB radar detector to the quadcopter in order to maximize the effectiveness of these life detector drones. Not tomention that, the necessity of such drones is critical in Iran which is being crossed by several major faults that cover at least 90% of the country leading to occurrence of destructive earthquakes
