Some characteristics of Barbatula sp. in Khersonak area of the Zyandehroud Riverwere reviewed during one-year period from February 2013 until January 2014. Atotal of 388 fish were caught, i.e. 222 female and 166 male (the sex ratio of male tofemale equal to 1:1.34). the mean length of female and male were 54.27 ± 9.61 (SD),49.53 ± 9.12 mm, respectively, and the mean weight were in male 0.77 ± 0.345 andin female 0.73 ± 0.31 g. The age-group ranged from 0+ to 5 + for females and 0+ to 3+ for males. Based on b values obtained from the relationship between length andweight in female W= 0.00001 L 2.8946 (r2=0.869) and in male = 0.00002 L 2.7811 (r2=0.827), both sexes showed negative allometric growth. Bertalaneffyparameters based on measurement data age-size were K=0.116 in a year, LR∞ R=118.55mm and tR0R=-3.11 year and K=0.169 in a year, LR∞R =87.52 mm, tR0R= -2.35 year infemales and males, respectively.
