خلاصه مقاله:
Two different structures of TiO2/Germanium compacted nanocomposites including nanowires and nanoparticles were studied. The studies show that the compacted type nanocomposites can show lower thermal conductivity than the embedded type nanocomposites. The modeling was done using a deterministic phonon Boltzman transport equation (BTE) and also the Monte Carlo (MC) as an alternative and comparative method. The results obtained by the two solution methods were compared with each other. Also, the BTE results of Silica/Germanium as another type of semi-conductor nanocomposite structure were compared with the obtained results.
