خلاصه مقاله:
A Composite of electrodeposited Sn-Sb alloy on electrospun polyacrylonitrile (PAN) precursor carbonized nanofiber has been investigated as the anode material for Lithium Ion Batteries (LIBs). The fabrication of the composite begins with electrospinning of PAN on Cu. Cu serves as a collector for both the electrospinning process and the electrical current of the anode material. A membrane of carbon nanofibers produced by pyrolysis of PAN nanofibers provides a strong, resilient, electrically conductive material for the anode in LIBs. This template has high accessible nanopores that can host alloys exhibiting larger theoretical capacities than the current carbonaceous anode materials. The macromorphology of electrospinning-derived carbon nanofibers template creates enough space for the lithiation/delithiation process of the guest electrodeposited Sn-Sb alloy occurring in every charge/discharge cycle of the LIB. This paper describes the preparation, optimization, and characterization of the Composite anode.
