study of correlation between nonstructural forms and function of nonomaterials in drilling fluids begun in the 1970s in several oil field research centers of the world. Nowadays the idea of nonomaterials used as absorbents and modifiers in oil and gas well drilling operations , stabilizers of complimentary and spacer fluid in cementing operations is proceeding from laboratory research to industrial scale. in this paper we compare the H2S absobrtion rate of synthetic nano ZnO with some conventional metal oxide absorbers. methods and compositions for removal or inactivation of H2S or soluble sulfide ions from drilling fluids used in drilling wells has been interested in some cases such as carbonated or in subterranean formations.
