Abstract:
polyacrylamide -chromium III system is widely used for water shutoff , among techniqes that measures the consistency of gelling system rheology is considered the most complete technique of characterization of polymer systems. In this study a systematic screening of some parameters has been undertaken by means of rheological measurments using a coaxial cylinder rheometer. the method allowed to study the elastic behavior of the cosistency G' and the viscous component G'' . effect of frequency on gelation was investigated. it has been shown decreasing in gelation system rate at high frequencies. storage and loss moduli was studied from 0.1 to 100 HZ. sweep strain from 0.1 to 100 showed linear viscoelastic behavior in this range.
