Abstract:

Farmland drainage, a means of product growth, a guarantee for sustainable development Irrigation is a tool for protecting soil resources .On a global scale, drainage in developing countries is still not doing enough. Of the more than 1,500 million hectares of cultivated land (blue or dry) in the world, only about 14 percent are equipped with some type of drainage network. It is anticipated that one-third of this area will be equipped with underground drainage networks .Underground drainage is a type of drainage that has been widely discussed in Europe and North America in the 20th century. In developing countries, Egypt is an underground drainage country with a considerable area of about 2 hectares. Countries such as Pakistan, China, Turkey and India are also using underground drainage for large areas of their waterways. Global experiences in the field of underground drainage over the past few decades have provided a great deal of insight and provide a great opportunity for better experiences. Although most of this knowledge and experience has not been substantiated (unpublished reports), it has been hidden in the minds of some experts who do not have the opportunity to complete this extensive experience and present it for future projects .The purpose of this article is to make this knowledge easily accessible.
