Abstract:

DOA estimation of LFM signals with sensor arrays is an essential task in radar, sonar and acoustics. Inorder to improve the angle measurement precision of one of these signals with a low computationalcomplexity, a DOA algorithm named, STFT-MS-KAI-ESPRIT is proposed in this paper. Firstly, weestimate chirp rate and carrier frequency .Next, the STFT of the array element’s output is calculated andthen the STFD matrix is used and the signal subspace can also be obtained by using EVD. The simulationresults show this algorithm reduces the computational complexity and it can be employed in low SNRscenarios.
