Introducing novel applied solutions for resolving corrosion problems and controlling corrosion in refinery and petrochemical industries with using of coatings of novel and advanced materials

Corrosion in its different types, is one of most important and most common problems in refinery and petrochemical industries. This harmful problem causes to severe damages to equipment, products pollution, negative environmental consequences and even injuries to operators. Also this problem imposes very high costs to these industries annually. There are some methods for corrosion control; Selection of appropriate alloy metals in suitable design of equipment, usage of suitable coatings on metals, usage of effective chemical inhibitors, catholic protection and engineered design of equipment and proper placement of them and appropriate orienting of them in sites of units. In this study, we introduced some novel applied solutions for controlling corrosion in refinery and petrochemical industries with using of coatings of novel and advanced materials.
