There are many methods for estimating natural gas demand, including econometrics and regression methods, which are mainly based on definite statistics and crisp sets, but each prediction is associated with uncertainty. One way to address such cases is to use fuzzy logic. In this paper, we tried to explain the method of using fuzzy logic, how to estimate and predict natural gas demand for two business and household sectors in Iran. To do this, using a few studies in Iran, fuzzy logic and inference have been used and, with examples, attempts have been made to estimate domestic gas demand. For this purpose, MATLAB software is used. The final result also leads to a de-fuzzy estimation of natural gas demand
