Abstract:

This study investigates the impact of information system and knowledge management on job performance mediated by job empowerment in one of the Indian steel company. This research is based on the purpose of an applied research and in terms of the nature and method of a causal investigation. Field method and questionnaire tool were used for data collection according to 5 Likert spectrum. The validity and reliability of the questionnaires were confirmed. The statistical population of the study is Indian steel company staff of 500 people and the sample size is 217 according to Morgan table. Structural equation technique and LISREL software were used to test the research hypotheses. Research findings show that information system through job empowerment has a positive impact on job performance. Knowledge management through job empowerment has a positive impact on job performance. The information system has a positive impact on job empowerment. The information system has a positive impact on job performance. Job empowerment has a positive impact on job performance. Knowledge management has a positive impact on job performance. Knowledge management has a positive impact on job empowerment.
