خلاصه مقاله:
Desulfurization of light petroleum cut was accomplished over two zeolite adsorbents. The effect of time and the ratio of gasoline to adsorbent for desulfurization of light petroleum cut containing about 140 ppmw of sulfur compounds were investigated in a batch reactor at ambient conditions.Moreover, the effect of temperature on the desulfurization process was investigated. Sulfur removal was slightly decreased with increasing temperature which can be related to the exothermic property of the reaction. Nanopore Na-Y zeolite showed high ability for the desulfurization of gasoline at ambient conditions.
