In order to access of Kabuli chickpea genotypes the largest yield than other existing cultivars that have useful characteristics such as grain yield, rather seed number in pod, larger grain size, some of traits that affect in tolerance to drought and heat stress, disease resistant, early maturity and other adaptable possessing good quality characteristics for dryland areas of country this study was conducted in Gachsaran Agricultural Research Station at 2008-09 growing season. These trials including A-test with 15 genotypes that selected of former chickpea yield trial and Preliminary yield Trial (PCYT) that selected of chickpea international nursery (CIENW- 08) with Arman and Azad Checks were conducted through Randomized Complete Block Design with 3 replicates and systematic format (each 6 line had 2 checks) respectively. During growing season data were collected from some agronomical and morpho-phisiological traits such as ST, PH, DF, DM, 100SW, GY and reaction to ascochyta blight and fusarium wilt diseases were evaluated. Comparisons between the grain yield of new genotypes and check variety (Azad) were done by analysis of variance were performed on grain yield and mean comparisons were done through LSD method in A-test trial. In PCYT trial grain yield genotypes compare with Arman and Azad check cultivar by using of curve. Results showed that 6 genotypes were better than check variety in A-test trial and they have good agronomical triats were selected. In PCYT Trial 11 genotypes were better than mean yield of two checks . These genotypes were selected for next advanced stages at 2009-10 growing season.
