Crystal violet dye is used to paint,loom and ink industries.therefore removal of this dye from wastewater is very main for environmental. A Surfactant mediated cloud point extraction (CPE) procedure has been developed to remove color from wastewater containing crystal violet using Triton X-100 (TX-100) as non-ionic surfactant. The effects of the concentration of TX-100 , acid HCl and KCl , also temperature have been studied and optimum conditions were obtained for the removal of crystal violet Under optimum conditions :0.15 mol/L surfactant TX-100 , 0.4 mol/L KCl , in 35 min and 75 centigrade degree and 20 min time in room temperature , above 98% of the dye could be removed in one step. experimental investigations have also been carried out for the recovery dye from water samples (drinking , river and industrial waters) .
