بررسی شناسایی ترکیبات اسانس پنج گونه آویشن به اسامی ‭Thymus carmanicus, T.migricus, T.trautvetteri, T.transpicus, T.caucasicus‬

Essential oils composition of the five Thymus species : Thymus migricus, T.trautvetteri, T. carmanicus, T. caucasicus and T. transcaspicus have been investigated in this plan.These species were collected in flowering period . Yellow-colored essential oils were extracted from the aerial parts of the plants using water and steam distillation method at the yields of 0.55% (T. migricus), 1.0% (T. trautvetteri), 0.05% (T. caucasicus), 0.92% (T. carmanicus) and 0.70% (T. transcaspicus) on the basis of dry weights.Essential oils compounds were identified using GC and GC/MS.Twenty-eight compounds were identified in the essential oil of T. migricus which include 99.3% of total oil.Thymol (24.3%), trans-nerolidol (17.8%), -terpinyl acetate (17.8%) and linalyl acetate (16.0%) are the main constituents, respectively.Twenty-four compounds were identified in the essential oil of T.trautvetteri which include 98.8% of total oil among which -terpinyl acetate (38.2%), linalyl acetate (28.1%), trans-nerolidol (8.6%) and thymol (4.2%) are the main constituents, respectively.It should be noted that because of difficult collection of T.numularius, we decided to replace it with T.trautvetteri.Essential oil of T. carmanicus have Twenty-five compounds among which carvacrol (77.6%), p-cymene (5.1%) and -terpinene (4.4%) have the highest percentages, respectively.Thirty-two compounds were identified in the essential oil of T. caucasicus which include 97% of total weight.Among identified compounds, trans-nerolidol (31.6%), -muurolene (13.9%), trans- -ocimene (8.7%), myrcene (6.7%) and -terpinyl acetate (5.4%) are the main constiyuents, respectively.Seventeen compounds were identified in the essential oil of T. transcaspicus which comprise 94.2% of total weight.Carvacrol (44.8%), p-cymene (15.4%), thymyl acetate (14.4%) and thymol methyl ether (5.4%) are the main constituents, respectively. Comparing essential oils composition of the five species shows that no similarity exits between them.In addition among these species, T. migricus, T. carmanicus and T. transcaspicus have significat amounts of thymol and carvacrol.
