It is driven by necessity to rehabilitate and conserve properly, the forest and range~and with a Idngrun methodical programming. Taking into consideration the needs and facilities of any region and identification of the rang - forestenvironment is a first priority. Study and determination of diameter growth rate of the trees and shrubs of the forests is an insignificant effort of a great extensive work in identification of the forest environment of the Fan Province - Iran. To pedorm this Projec4 the considered site determined and the wild pistacia (Pistacia mutica) trees identified. Trees were chosen in 9 diameter classes (10 - 50em). In each class, five trees were considered as samples. The information about the characteristics of quality and quantity of each tree collected statiscally thereafter. Having obtained the information, the trunks were cut down at stump and disks with 8 em in diameter prepared. Means of 10 year ray, diameter, and volum growth, bight and volum curves, Tarif table, and form factor, as well as therelations of over - under bark diameter, age . diameter, and age - bight weredetermined. The results showed a little reproduction in 10 . 15 em diameter classes, however, a more relative frequency in 15 . 20 em diameter ones.
