Abstract:

Ocneria terebinthina is the most important pests of wild pistachio trees in fars province. It passes through 5-6 larval instars under under climatic condition of Fars province.. This pest has three generations in a year.This species has a great potential for injury ; so in some years it completely defoliate its host post.To evaluate efficacy of Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki produced by LR.O.S.T. and to compare it with a comercial product "Biolep" in control of Ocneria terebinthina three doses of each product (2,3 and 4) , applied to 3 age compositions of Ocneria terebinthina. Experiments were carried out in the formin the field , carried out form of randomized complete block design with three replication during years of 1374,1376 .Experiments were carried out in the form orandomized complete design with four replication (including control) and 3.The effects of the two products on different larval stages at different doses taresummarized as follow: mortality rate of 2nd and 3rd instar larval for Biolp as well as LR.O.S.T. product dosages of2t3A/1000 were 77,69t94t91t82and 9S% respectively and 3rd and 4th instar; calculated as SOt77t80t90,90 and 93%. The figures for 41h and Sth were 47t57t53,90t83and 97%. To evaluate efficacy of two products that mentioned abowe in control of Ocneria terebinthina in the field t carried out during years of 1374t1376 Experiments were carried out in the form of randomized complete block design with three replication in 1374 applied two doses (2, 3/1000)of each product and control and three doses(2,3,4/1000)of each product in 1376. Results summarized as follow: mortality rate of larval for Biolep as well as I.R.O.S.T. product dosages of 2t3/1000 in 1374 were 65A3,79,61% respectively and for doseges of2,3,4/1000 in 1376 were 59,52,75t66,86t72%. Results showed that both mentioned products have enough efficiency t control this pest.
