This experiment was carried out to compare different oestrus synchronization methods. 180 ewes of Kaboudeh shlraz from commercial flock were used during spring 1999. The exprlment was consisted of six treatment. The oestrus cycles of the ewes were synchronized using six methodsInc/udlng:1)use of 20 mg progesterone Injection during 12 days every other day and single i.m.lnjection of 500 IU PMSG in the twelfth day,2)use of CIDR-progesterone during 12 days and single i.m.lnjection of 500 IU PMSG at the time of CIDR remova/,3)use of sponge-progesterone during 12 days and single.i.m. Injection of 500.IU PMSG_at the time of CIDR removal, 3) use of sponge- progesterone during 12 days and single .i.m.Injection of 500.IU PMSG_at the time of sponge removal, 4) i.m.injectlon of PGF2
