Abstract:
Steel bending resisting systems have been the most suitable systems from the architect point of view,due to the merits of producing open-paces which is of high importance in the first story usable for shopping centers. Such architectural limitation usually do not need to be considered in upper stories and any type of resisting other system such as CBF or EBF could practically be used. Existing two different systems in a frame could affect on the seismic parameters. In this paper such effect on the ductility factor (?), displacement modification factor(Cd) and reduction factor is studied and seismically assessed. The comparison of the obtained results with Those of credible codes constitutes the last part of the paper.
