In order to study the seed yield of international barley genotype receiving from ICARDA, 4 trials were conducted in Shirvan, Maragah, Uromieh and Ardabil station during 2004-2005 growing season. All experiments were planted according to it s own map. Plant density was 350 to 400 seed per square meter according to region. During the growing season , date of emergence, date of heading, date of maturity, plant height and after harvesting, TKW and seed yield were recorded. In observation nursery experiments, promising genotypes determined through comparing with check and in replicated experiments promising genotypes determined through combine analysis. In Shirvan winter barley observation nursery only two genotypes include number 50 and 140 produced more yield than check. In Shirvan observation nursery (LRA-W) no genotype produced more yield than check but in Shirvan Crossing block 16 genotype were higher than check. In Uromieh observation nursery, 7 genotypes in case of seed yield were higher than check. In Ardabil observation nursery 9 genotypes produced more yield than check. In Maragah crossing block 49 genotypes showed higher yield than check. In winter barley yield trial in Shirvan, Maragah, Uromieh and Ardabil average of seed yield in no genotype was higher than check but in Maragah the yield of genotype number 18 at the level of %5 of probability was higher than check. In Ardabil genotypes number 9, 12 and 17 produced more yield compared with check at level of 5% of probability. In winter barley yield trial(LRA) in Shirvan no genotype was higher than check. The selected genotypes from these experiments for more study will take part to next year experiments.
