Turbulence in Business and Enterprise Networks

To describe the characteristics of a networked economy -the most evolved concept of the knowledge-based society- we consider that it must be explained which would be the levers to determine the shift from the previous form, analyze the real conditions which can trigger the transition process, and detail them on a multidimensional basis. This paper, as a step in a larger research, tries to emphasize the most common conditions which can initiate the shift process, focusing on the Romanian reality- and some common ways of action, for each of the dimensions of the process, taken to prepare and implement the transition to the networked economy.
