Exploitation of pastures without certain plan is main reason for destroying pastures. Autecology studies need to be done for protecting Sanguisorba minor species. This study is in eluded map making, characteristics of habitat, phenology, preference value root system, reproduction, operation forage. canopy cover and variety of species. According to this study exploitation of Sanguisorba In many pastures is because of over grazing this and decline of genurn . This species can be found in cliff slope and almost in all over Lorestan pastures in I 040 -2300 meters higher of mountains. Most of the time there is high number of said species at the northern slopes and flood ways. Suitable temperature and rain range for this species are 39 to -18,400-600 mm. Sanguisorba minor is a sensitive species. It would growth vertical in restricted situation when it under over grazing, will growth horizontally and its root goes depth. This species in Lorestan grow up in March and seeding time is June and it will grow again in fall. Gennination average of Sanguisorba minor is 63 percent, weight of 1000 seeds is 5 I I g. suitable season for cultivation is fall. and planting depth 1.5 centimeters. 12 kg seed need to be cultivated in hectare Sanguisorba minor has unique characteristics like, growing two times a year, easy to planting and regeneration. It can be a effective factor for preventing soil erosion and run off control.
