Abstract:

Sustainable architecture is one of the most important issues that can lead to sustainable societies and sustainability in general. One of the main problems is that the life of the human and other creatures will be in the risk if the sustainability of the environment is endangered in the same way. For preventing this kinds of problems, it is necessary to consider the sustainable architecture factors. Construction is the main factor of in the consumption of materials in the world and also the highest energy consumption occurs in the building sector, so it is necessary to find solutions that lead to the sustainability of buildings. As the current way of the construction continues, it will affect not only today's generation, but also future ones. For achieving this goal, building materials play a decisive role. Intelligent and self-healing materials can reduce the harmful effects of construction by increasing the quality of construction and increasing the longevity of buildings. The present research seeks to achieve principles and rules that can be applied in implementation, also it seeks to investigate the dimensions of the problem of building stability under the influence of materials. This study examines how to use self-healing materials in buildings to achieve building stability and achieve a more sustainable architecture by introducing and recognizing the potentials and applications of these. Finally, it will provide a solution to improve the sustainability of buildings.
