Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to investigate the effect of Cohesion and Angle of Internal Friction on slope stabilization by Nailing and Geosynthetic methods and stabilization is done by Geo-Studio 2012 software that based on the Finite Element Method(FEM). In the two decades, it has been tried to provide stability of Soil slopes, Drilling Walls, Excavation and etc by using the pioneer methods structure such as Piles, Nailing, Geosynthetic and etc. Also we have to use reinforcements such as Geotextiles or Nails because of the low bearing capacity of soft and loose soils, in place due to economic or geological conditions, to stabilize soil slope and increase soil bearing capacity and finaly increase the Factor of Safety. It has been tried to obtain the Factor of Safety by varying the Angle of Internal Friction and Cohesion of soil used in slope and compare the two methods of stabilization for different parameters.
