Abstract:
Nowadays, demand response programs are widely used to balance generation and consumption. These programs can be used as energy and also reservation in a restructured environment. In recent studies, it has been suggested that this product be exchanged in a market environment. This requires an accurate formulation to model exchanges in this market. The market also has its own independent operator known as demand response exchange operator (DRXO) that must interact with the independent system operator (ISO). The exchange of DR programs takes place using a demand response aggregator (DRA) which conducts through contracts between the consumers on the one hand and the system operator on the other. This article investigates the exchange market for demand response programs and provides a model for it. This model uses robust optimization method as one of the best methods in comparison with similar methods in the field, taking into account the uncertainty in the problem such as uncertain load and generation resources. The presented model is evaluated by the IEEE-96 RTS bus system to determine the accuracy of the model
