Abstract:

During tilt-up construction, concrete elements such as walls, columns and bearings are placed on the concrete slab. In a way that the walls in the project construction area, are concreted horizontally and after curing with concrete using crane, they are installed in their own place. The Comparison of transverse loads in the box and composite system of tilt-up and the choice of the best system in places with high risks of earthquake is the main goal of this project. Wall panels are attached to the ceiling diaphragm and this diaphragm is flexible due to the panels. It is noticeable that if we increase the number of floors, the walls will be molded in several parts. This implementation method is applied to none concrete pieces like LSF system or wall panels with cold-roll section. In this project we have used the comparative method and structural investigation. Comparing the box, rigid and composite systems of tilt up, it was concluded that the composite system that is the combination of the box and rigid frame, has the advantage of a regular and straight plan and facade, suitable behavior for earthquake and rigid frame for moment bracing and the most appropriate tilt-up system.
