Isovist Analyst of Rasht Sabzehmaydan Square with suggestions for development

Urban public spaces have had a prominent role in social and economic life of people. Among different types of urban public spaces, square has always played a central role through the history of urbanity and urban life. Sabzehmaydan is the second most important square of Rasht after Shhrdary square. In this study, we analyze the Sabzehmaydan square and provide some suggestions for its development. In the present , author is trying to assessments with pedestrian movement behavior through visibility and mobility studies respectively. In order to achieve this objective, isovists field simulations have been applied .Visibility graph analysis (VGA) is a widely used technique to analyse spaces within a building. In this study ,Depthmap 10 software was used because it is an open source multi-platform software to perform a set of spatial network analyses designed to understand social processes within the built environment.
