Abstract:

The relation between organizational ethics and values with healthcare performance and efficiency is still the subject of many researches, and it needs to be considered more. In the healthcare industry, especially hospitals, performance can be defined as economic efficiency, patient satisfaction, and producing science. One of the main concerns of any efficient managers in different stages is how to create suitable conditions for employees to do their responsibilities with commitment and follow the ethical values of their organization. Although our world is developing at an enormous speed and it is mixed with a new generation of technologies and Artificial intelligence, but still the mastermind of all organizations are humans, and without humans, an organization does not make sense. Terms like Professional ethics, values, and work ethics are some of the fundamental issues of all human societies. In this study, the researcher conducted a case study on a public hospital through a questionnaire and found a high relation between ethics and values with hospital performance.
